Assistant Coach of the Year 2006
Kevin Bahrehfuss, Webster City
Dave Hilton, head coach had this to say, "Kevin has been a volunteer coach assistant for 31 years. Last year he was named a paid assistant. He has been invaluable to me as a JV coach and assistant varsity coach." Kevin's duties include compiling all team stats and conference stats, taking care of all money and making a team yearbook.

Bob Wright, Urbandale
Bob Wright has been involved with Urbandale softball for 36 years, primarily as pitching coach. Most of Bob's years at Urbandale involved working along side National Coach of the Year/IGCA Hall of Fame coach, Gary Page. Bob enjoys working with pitchers of all ages and has as much experience working with pitchers as anyone in Iowa.

In order to create more uniformity in our state tournament appearances, we would like to update the state tournament appearances page. Coaches, please email the schools, years, and placing (if known) for each state tournament appearance you have had. We will be including Iowa only state tournament appearances. The page will then look similar to both volleyball and basketball. Thanks for your help.

Lory Aguero, Muscatine
Lory has been an assistant coach for 18 years in which she helped guide Muscatine to 9 Mississippi Athletic Conference titles, 9 state tournament appearances and 2 State Championships. During her 18 years as assistant coach, she helped Muscatine achieve a record of 677-130.
