Scholarships

The Iowa Girls' Coaches Association offers three scholarships.

FIRST, we will offer a scholarship(s) to a senior who has been active in high school sports. The amount of the scholarship(s) and the number of scholarships given will be determined on a year-to-year basis.  See address below to send application. Application for the IGCA Scholarship - (Click Here)

The SECOND is the Mark Tiby Scholarship. A female athlete will be able to apply for the IGCA Scholarships, the Mark Tiby Scholarship, and the Roe/Mullen Scholarships, but she will only be awarded one. Mark Tiby Scholarship

The THIRD scholarship is the Bob Mullen/Dean Roe scholarship. This scholarship shall be awarded to a girls basketball player and there are two $500 scholarships. The Bob Mullen /Dean Roe scholarships are funded by a family donation.   Mullen/Roe Scholarship

A FOURTH scholarship opportunity promoted and supported by the the IGCA for a limited number of years is the Larry Niemeyer scholarship. This $500 scholarship shall be awarded to a girls basketball player that meets the criteria (and application) listed here. This scholarship is funded by the family of Larry Niemeyer

A FIFTH scholarship opportunity promoted and supported by the the IGCA is the Gene Klinge scholarship. This $500 scholarship shall be awarded to a girls basketball player that meets the criteria listed below.
